Overview

Submissions closed at 11:59 pm AEDT on Friday 13 October 2023. Unfortunately, you can no longer make a submission. Hard copy submissions postmarked on or before 13 October 2023 will be accepted even if they are received after the closing date.

The Royal Commission will continue to publish submissions on our website with the consent of the author. Due to the nature of the submissions received, not all submissions can be published. The Royal Commission reserves the right not to publish certain submissions or to redact information within a submission.

If you wish to update your submission after 13 October 2023, the Royal Commission can make note of factual changes to your submission – for example, if something was recorded incorrectly in your original submission. You cannot make substantial changes to your submission after 13 October 2023.

The Commissioners and all Royal Commission staff thank everybody who has made a submission to the Royal Commission. Your story is valuable and has helped inform our inquiry. The Royal Commission will deliver its final report to Government by 17 June 2024.
